It was great to hear about how other teachers are currently using iPads in the classroom. After today’s training I have more confidence in turning the iPad play and exploration over to kids. I feel I have permission not to know everything about every app. Thanks, Kathy! I’m also checking out the splitter for multiple users to access the iPad. Great tool!
i learned that I use the notepad to make progress monitoring notes. Also that I could assign groups of students to I – Pads to keep track of users and that I can easily take pictures and use them to change the wallpaper on the I-Pads. I love the Wallpaper Art Contest idea!
I enjoyed learning a variety of ways to use iPads in the classroom. I look forward to exploring ways for students to work cooperatively on iPads. I plan to get a splitter to help students share iPads and an adapter so that can share their work with the class on the dock cam. Thanks Kathy!
I learned how to use the camera on my iPad. I love the idea that students can take a screen shot of their work and send it to me. I also loved the opportunity to explore new apps.
iPads can be used as a wonderful assessment tool. Students can create pictures or books as individuals or groups and then share them with their teachers. Students can take pictures of the work they created without technology and them share them electronically.
I learned or realized that I need to start small and just begin to use these iPads in the classroom. I learned how to take a screen shot, which can help my students be held accountable.
I am planning on changing my wallpaper for each iPad so that my kids can identify their assigned iPad quickly.
